Creating Shipments

Shipments are the core operational unit in Winixx Freight. A shipment represents a load moving from origin to destination under defined terms.

Why it exists

Standardizing shipments allows:

  • Accurate pricing calculations
  • Clear responsibility assignment
  • Consistent tracking and delivery confirmation

What you should do

  1. Create a shipment by entering:
    • Pickup and delivery locations
    • Load details (weight, type, requirements)
    • Preferred timing
  2. Review the system-generated pricing.
  3. Publish the shipment to the load board.
  4. Monitor booking and delivery status.
